Houston Dynamo is an American professional soccer club competing in Major League Soccer's Western Conference. Founded in December 2005 after the relocation of the San Jose Earthquakes' operations, the club initially played at Robertson Stadium before moving to Shell Energy Stadium in East Downtown Houston during the 2012 season.
