Cerro Porteño, founded in 1912, is a professional Paraguayan football club based in Asunción's Obrero neighbourhood. The club plays its home matches at General Pablo Rojas Stadium, the country's largest venue with a 45,000-seat capacity. Managed by Ariel Holan, Cerro has never been relegated from Paraguay's top division and contests the national derby against rival Club Olimpia.
